Aramentel Austin, ADA CEO/Founder

Executive Director – Aramentel Austin is the CEO of the Austin Dancers Inc. In 1966 Mrs Austin started a community based cultural art program for children in her hometown of Queens, New York. The children were very enthusiastic with her dance program and became so skilled in the art of dance that Mrs. Austin felt they should be allowed to demonstrate their abilities to others in the community.  Thus the idea of an annual show presented by the Austin Dancers was born and they have been consistent since 1967. The past 4 decades Mrs Austin has devoted her time helping underprivileged  and at-risk children within the community find their true potential through her performing arts program. Her work continues to bring her satisfaction, gratification and love. She continues to be a pillar of her community by putting children first.
